I’m happy to announce that ARC has finally arrived.
Although I can’t really say what ARC stands for, you can find out how I came up with “ARC” by checking out the A Naming Struggle section of this post (click here).
I’m writing this post on Monday night and scheduling it to publish Friday morning. As of right now, 8 people have already become members because I sent an email last Friday with a member registration link to those who signed-up to be notified on the bottom of this post (click here).
Before I opened up the ARC Forums for member registration, I seeded some posts using Muppet characters.
My goal was to create 5 posts in each forum before launching, but I came up a little short. No problem though, I think there is enough there to prevent the crickets from chirping and, of course, many more posts are coming.
The ARC Forums basically give me a way to create mini blog posts that are more technical in nature, leaving the regular blog open for “softer”, less technical posts.
And it’s always a lot more fun to be solving real-world problems so I’m looking forward to your questions.
Of course, I’m not an “expert” (click here), but rather a professional learner. So don’t expect me to dominate the forums like some big-headed know-it-all. I’m just a fellow learner, a professional learner to be precise.
I expect to learn a lot from all of you.
One of the things that blogging has taught me is that sharing is good. Infectious diseases are a bad thing to share. But knowledge is a good thing to share. And I like to share knowledge about reporting in Acumatica because it “empties” my brain and forces me to learn new things.
So, head on over to the main landing page for ARC (click here) and sign-up to become a member.
It’s just $10 for a Lifetime Membership Fee and that’s to help keep out the spammers and ensure that we get members who are “serious” about reporting in Acumatica.
But even if you don’t think you’re qualified to be called “serious”, still feel free to join. There is no such thing as a stupid question and there is no hazing ritual for new members. Just friendly people sharing information about reporting in Acumatica.
And if you are shy, just make up a creative username. I’m the only one who will see your real name.
I look forward to conversing with you in the forums.
Until then…
